Over time, Blair's Wi-Fi network must be upgraded periodically in order to provide a good user experience. Students are often most concerned about the quality of internet in the dormitories. The technology office frequently works on such upgrades when the students and faculty are away on break. This year during Christmas vacation the technology office staff upgraded all of the existing wireless access points in Insley Hall and installed several additional ones. This allowed more devices to connect at one time to the internet from a particular area of the building, and greatly improved smartphone connectivity.
